The Best Training Initiative was awarded to Southampton University who clearly demonstrated how their training   programme delivered significant business benefits.
Their submission covered the following:-
1) The identification of the training need
2) The training objectives
3) The design of the plan
4) The training programme in practice
5) The evaluation of business benefits
 
 
 
 
 
The award was presented by Pat Wherton from BICS, the award sponsors, to Carmel Ford who accepted it on behalf of Southampton University.


Best Use of Information Technology Award

 
 
 
The Best Use of Information Technology Award went to Sheffield Hallam University who clearly demonstrated how information technology is used within their business to enhance performance. The entry was based on a specific IT initiative at Sheffield Hallam
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
The award was presented by Andrew Jones from Expolink, the award sponsors, to Libby Wainwright who accepted it on behalf of Sheffield Hallam University.


Sustainability Award (or Best Environmental Initiative)

The Sustainability Award (or Best Environmental Initiative) was awarded to The University of Leeds who clearly demonstrated how they have embraced “sustainability” through eco friendly or environmental initiatives within their organisation.
